I'm a motivated and hard-working animator who loves bringing things to life, and creating and developing new ideas and stories. I recently moved to Burbank, CA to start my career as an animator at DreamWorks Animation and I'm excited about the prospect of continuing to work at what I love.
I was born in Orange County, California at the tender age of 0. It was there that I learned to walk and talk, which I still do to this day. At age 3, I moved with my family to Downingtown, Pennsylvania where I spent my days playing with Lego, riding my bike, falling off swing sets, and bobsledding down our sloped driveway in the winter. I also developed a keen taste for Macaroni & Cheese. In kindergarten, I won my first art prize: a giant chocolate chip cookie. Soon after, at age 8, I moved back to Orange County, California where I spent most of the next 9 years studying hard and watching Star Trek: The Next Generation.

This is also when I started playing roller hockey (honestly what else was a kid to do in Southern California in the 90s?). I continued to play into high school, and also began playing ice hockey (a natural transition). At age 17, I once again moved, but this time to San Jose, California where I continued to study hard and make new friends. A year later I was off to college at UC Berkeley where in between bouts of sleeping and eating I earned a BA in Psychology and played for the Cal Ice Hockey team. Shortly after graduation I returned to study my true passion, art, at San Jose State University, where I became ShrunkenHeadMan Club President and ruled with an iron fist. Of course I employ the same tactics on my students as a Graduate Student Instructor. Which brings us to today, where I sit wondering if my art will win me another cookie some day...
